Sustainable art project "power of belief" 2 Years, 2 Months ago Karma: 0
Hello everyone

Im working on an idea for an artwork for the Helix project and want the basis for the design to come form the people of the area or involved in the project.

I will later post the finished design of the project but for now I will keep it a surprise

So I need the help of you wonderful people who have taken the time out to read this. Its just a bit of fun and your identity will be kept secret out with the forum. The idea is for me to start a story and for you to continue it and then the next person who comes along will continue from where you left off.

Think about mythological creatures (no kelpies please ) and fairy tales and try and come up with a modern twist.

"In the dark depths of a forest their lived a small magical tree with bark made from bottles and .........."

I hope this works and you all join in and add a small part to the fairytale.

Newsflash

AN industrial landscape between Falkirk and Grangemouth is set to be transformed into an inspirational green space which will be open and accessible to all, thanks to a massive £25 million grant from the Big Lottery Fund to the innovative Helix project in Falkirk.

This massive injection of funding, planned to take place over the next six years, will allow the Helix project to radically transform the environment in the Forth Valley as part of the BIG Lottery Fund’s Living Landmarks programme.  This award is the first of its kind in Scotland through this programme, and the largest ever awarded by BIG to individual projects so far.
